12U Warriors Travel Tryouts

Important tryout dates, check-in procedures, gear fitting information, AA and A/B tryout progression, and player assignments.

Tryout assignments are posted below. Players must attend the session to which they are assigned.
Player Check-In

Check-In & Tryout Jerseys

Players may check in up to 60 minutes before their scheduled tryout. Every player must check in before each session to receive a tryout jersey.

Jerseys will be collected on the ice immediately following each session and redistributed at check-in before the player's next skate. The check-in table will be located in the lobby outside the rink.

Required Before Skating

Gear Fittings

All players must complete their gear fitting before their first tryout session. AA players: August 20. A/B-only players: August 22.

Check-in staff will direct players to the gear fitting location. Players are encouraged to bring their shoulder pads and hockey pants.

Tryout Process

The 12U tryout process is designed to evaluate players throughout multiple sessions and place each player at the most appropriate competitive level.

1. AA Tryouts Begin Players electing to participate in AA tryouts begin on August 20. Players advancing to Day 2 will be posted after the August 20 sessions.
2. AA Advancement Players advancing to the final AA session will be posted following the conclusion of the August 21 tryouts.
3. A/B Tryouts Players released from AA move into the A/B process beginning August 22. A/B schedules will be posted after the August 21 sessions conclude.

All players participating in A/B tryouts will be assigned to one morning and one afternoon session on August 22, plus one session on August 23. Players must attend the sessions they are assigned.

Season Commitment

Financial Commitment

By participating in tryouts, players acknowledge the financial commitment for the remaining season dues if selected for a Warriors travel team.

Help Needed

Tryout Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to assist with player check-in, jersey distribution, and gear fittings. If you can help for approximately one hour, please use the sign-up link below.

Additional Tryout Information

  • Team selections will be posted at warriorhockeyclub.com within 24 hours after tryouts conclude.
  • Information regarding next steps for players released from travel tryouts will also be available when team selections are posted.
  • All tryout dates and times are subject to change.

Thursday, August 20: 5:10 PM, 6:20 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:40 PM — SSSC

Friday, August 21: 6:20 PM, 7:30 PM — SSSC

Saturday, August 22: 1:45 PM — SSSC

12U A/B • August 22–23

Saturday, August 22: 6:50 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:10 AM, 10:20 AM, 2:55 PM, 4:05 PM, 5:15 PM, 6:25 PM — SSSC

Players will skate in one morning and one afternoon session on August 22.

Sunday, August 23: 7:25 AM, 8:35 AM, 9:45 AM, 10:55 AM — SSSC
