Mile High Meltdown
Overview
The Arapahoe Warriors Rec Hockey League hosts the annual Mile High Meltdown Tournament for Rec teams for all age levels: 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U. Each age level will include an Upper and Lower Division.
This is a USA Hockey sanctioned tournament. All teams must submit an approved USA Hockey roster to play in the tournament.
Each team is guaranteed at least 4 games. Championship banners are presented to the first and second place teams.
This tournament is held every year in the week leading up to and including the President's Day weekend in February and is held at our 2 facilities: South Suburban Sports Complex and Family Sports Center. There will be no admission charged to attend.

Hotel Accommodations
Teams may book hotel accommodations if desired. This is not a Stay-to-Play tournament so if you choose to stay overnight, you can select hotel accommodations of your choosing. A list of preferred SSPRD hotels will be posted soon.

2026 Mile High Meltdown
Recreational Hockey teams are invited to play in the 26th Annual Mile High Meltdown Tournament hosted by the Arapahoe Warriors Rec Hockey League.

Tournament Dates: February 9th - 16th
Monday 2/9 - Thursday 2/12: evening games for local teams
Friday 2/13 - games begin at 6:00 am for ALL teams
Fees and Registration:
10U Team Fee: $1,700
12U Team Fee: $1,700
14U Team Fee: $1,800
18U Team Fee: $1,800
Tournament reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. Full team registrations only.
Each Age Level will have an Upper and Lower division. The Tournament Director will place each team in the appropriate division.
If you are registering a "Tournament Team", you will automatically be placed in the Upper Division.

All entry fees are non-refundable after this date.
