Locker Room Rules

Arapahoe Warriors | Locker Room Rules and Expectations
The locker room is a space for players to prepare, learn, and focus. These rules are in place to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members.
Supervision & Safety
- Players are not permitted to be in the locker room without a coach or Safesport-certified adult present. If no authorized adult is in the room, players must leave immediately.
Behavior Expectations
- No horseplay – pushing, shoving, or roughhousing is not allowed.
- No running in the locker room or hallways.
- No stick use inside the locker room or off the ice—sticks are for use on the ice only.
- Do not throw equipment, gear, or any objects.
- No inappropriate language or behavior of any kind—ethnic, racial, sexual, or otherwise.
- Respect all players, coaches, and staff. No hazing, bullying, or derogatory comments.
- Never criticize teammates. Encourage and support each other.
Cleanliness & Responsibility
- Keep the locker room clean—dispose of all trash (wrappers, tape, cups, etc.) in trash cans.
- Leave the locker room cleaner than you found it.
- Respect others' belongings—never take items that aren’t yours. Turn in lost items to a coach or the rink office.
- Players will be held personally responsible for any damage to locker room or arena property.
Preparation & Accountability
- Arrive on time and be fully dressed and ready at the designated times for practices and games.
- Take pride in your appearance and your actions.
- The locker room is for getting dressed, learning, and preparing—not for socializing.
- Do not make coaches or teammates wait for you after events.
Listening & Respect
- Be attentive when coaches or staff address you—whether individually or as a group.
- Show maturity and respect at all times, both in and out of the locker room.
- Honor the Arapahoe Warriors Player Agreement.
Electronics Policy
- No phones, cameras, or recording devices of any kind are allowed in the locker room—this includes cell phones, MP3 players, tablets, or smartwatches with cameras.
- Violations of this rule may result in suspension or further disciplinary action.
The locker room, rink, and surrounding areas are learning environments, just like a classroom. Players are expected to conduct themselves in a way that supports a positive team culture.
