Warriors Rec Tryouts
Tryouts for the 2026-2027 Arapahoe Warriors Rec League will start the last week of August.
Group assignments will be posted 5 - 7 days before tryouts. Check the group assignments below for your player's name. If you don't see your player's name, it may be because the list was posted before you registered. Contact ScottG@ssprd.org to find out your player's group assignment.
The Tryout schedule for each age level is outlined to the right. Please try and attend both tryout skates for your Group #. If you can only attend one tryout skate, that is fine. If you cannot attend either tryout skate, please contact ScottG@ssprd.org.
PER USA HOCKEY RULES, PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A NECKGUARD ON THE ICE AT ALL TIMES. PLAYERS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE ICE AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE WITHOUT ONE.
Check-In
- Check in at Sports Complex rink level.
- We ask that each player bring a white and dark jersey with a number on it.
- Players will be told at check-in whether to wear their white or dark jersey. (There will be a few extra jerseys available to use if needed)
- After check in, players will be directed to an area where their jersey and game sock size will be determined.
- Players may request a number at this time, but it is not guaranteed.
- Jerseys will get player's last names put on them and given to the team prior to their first game.
Team Placement
Players will be notified of their Warriors team within the week after tryouts have been completed. Siblings will be on the same team unless otherwise notified.
